Sleeprunner, born in the late summer of 2005, has gone through a few line up changes only to rest with the current 3 good friends. Each member shares the same passion and respect for the music that we listen to and create. We've been influenced by every musician, band, artist, etc., be it good or bad, hard and heavy or soft and delicate, serious and urgent or comical and unexplicable. We attempt to translate our lives, perceptions, thoughts, and emotions through a few instruments, electronics, and microphones. |

"Sleep Runner's [sic] EP brand of metal is a both refined and powerful. These songs are slower paced yet huge and unrelenting. In a sense, the melodies of these songs are a bit more melodic in nature and not so much of a screaming contest. For that reason, I could see this disc appealing to both heavy rock and metal fans alike. Considering the swells of violins, funeral pianos, and harmonies, its clear to see that a lot of attention to detail was put into this disc...the music is both sophisticated and abrasive, especially on Sensory, which is the standout track to me." Fillmore Slim, The Noise - Issue 262, June 2006 "Got the CD in the mail - not what I expected - but a REAL GOOD surprise!!! Very nice work!" Deek, purerockfury.com - May 9, 2006 "Sleeprunner reminded me of an accessible version of Dream Theatre [sic] with a killer rhythm section." Johnny the MusicNZ - Nov. 30, 2005 "I had no idea that Sleeprunner was such a unique and musically diverse band! Matthew and I, as well as the audience, thoroughly enjoyed your performance."
